Hi there! I'm Meg, an artist and designer currently based out of Dallas, Texas. I love art, movies, coffee, adventures, and dogs. This website is to showcase my work.
When I was young, I was obsessed with many films. It started out with the Wizard of Oz, then the Little Mermaid, then Monsters, Inc....One day I was watching a behind the scenes featurette (as I did all the time as a child - they are so fascinating!) on the Monsters, Inc. DVD. It showed a magical building where people were creating amazing stores and characters and having a good time doing it. From then on, I knew I wanted to be an "animator."
Over time I found other loves such as drawing my Neopets or making up mermaids to populate the imaginary universes in my head. As I travelled through high school I set my goals on becoming a visual development artist because although I love animation, I had discovered that my real passion is in design in general, but especially for film and TV.
Now I'm attending the University of Texas at Dallas. I'm studying business there but work on art on the side. When I graduate in a few years I hope to transition to full-time art work :)
